In their quest to expand its current market NetEnt are moving into a new office, opening in Kings Cross.
The office was opened by Andy Whitworth – Managing Director of NetEnt UK, alongside Chief Strategy Officer Rob Fell. And their prime aim? Prioritising the UK as a growth market to increase presence.
It’s a plan that’s been a few years in the making. But the duo have finally been able to put it into inception.
Indeed, both Whitworth and Fell truly believe this is the way forward to developing NetEnt. The former had this to say about the new move:
”We are delighted to be open for business in the UK…Having a local presence to support our customers will be great. And we’ve already recruited some key talent!’.
Promising words indeed. But what the NetEnt reps are more concerned about, more than gaining exposure in new markets is catering to local customers. A business as big as NetEnt will only see this as a natural step forward.
The combination of the new office and new customers should go a long way in providing them with more presence. A few years down the line the London office will grow from a small group of people to a large workplace dedicated to supplying the best casino games in the industry.
So, increased exposure is a key strategic initiative that casino providers will want to hit this year. It’s a target that won’t be hard to hit given NetEnt presence in other markets, such as the Swedish and Finnish markets.
And setting up camp in London is not a bad start. Not a bad start at all.
